I paid for shipping, so why is the courier company asking for additional payment? What is customs duty, and why do I need to pay it?
Shipping charges only cover the cost of delivering your order and do not include customs duties or taxes. Customs duty is a tax imposed by the importing country on goods crossing its borders. These charges are determined by government regulations and must be paid by the recipient to clear the shipment into the country.
I have shopped previously with Mirraw and I was not asked to pay any custom fees.

Why there was no instruction about the Custom charges while placing the order?

Since the Custom Duty / VAT implication varies from Country to Country and also not charged on 100% of the shipments, it is absolutely not possible for us to predict in 100% of the instances.
What should I do when my package is open and the product seal is broken?
